A message from the Chief of Police
We are located on U.S. Highway 24, 12 miles east of beautiful Waconda Lake, which offers some of the best recreational opportunities in North Central Kansas. This is a very strong Agricultural area with some Manufacturing businesses and excellent school systems. North Central Kansas Technical College and Beloit Correctional Facility are located in Beloit.
The Beloit Police Department is an authorized 10 Officer department with two reserve Officers and one Municipal Court Clerk. There are two Sergeants, one supervises investigative functions and participates in administrative matters in conjunction with the Chief of Police and the other supervises operations and patrol functions. The Chief of Police supervises all personnel in all aspects of the department.
The men and women of the Beloit Police Department have committed themselves to the highest professional standards and developing organizational values that each employee will be expected to reflect in both their personal and professional lives. Values such as loyalty, integrity, fairness, and excellence will be the foundation for which all of our services will be provided.
The Beloit Police Department is committed to organizational transparency, promoting unity and partnerships with the citizenry through open communication, education, cooperation, and fair and equal treatment, contributing to the improvement in the quality of life, and making Beloit a safe community of which we can all be proud.
