Police Officer
The Beloit Police Department is accepting applications for a Police Officer. Duties include general patrol, answering calls for service, investigations of ciminal activity and traffic enforcement. Beloit is located in North Central Kansas and is only 12 miles from Waconda Lake where you will find some of the best recreational opportunities in the state. The North Central Kansas Technical College and Beloit Juvenile Correctional Facility as also located in Beloit. Beloit is a full service rural community of approximately 4,000 citizens with excellent public and private school systems.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age at the time of appointment, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, possess or have ability to obtain Kansas Law Enforcement certification, pass drug screen, pass a psychological and a medical exam, and possibly submit to a polygraph exam. Be free of any domestic violence or felony convictions. Residency is required. EOE
Salary:
Hiring Range: DOQ - Generally from $12.59 to $14.16
per hour
Single and family insurance offered, boot allowance, weapon and uniforms supplied.
