Administration
The City Manager is appointed by the City Council to implement Council policies; to oversee the daily activities of the City; to serve as the Chief Financial Officer, and to supervise departments within the City.

Airport
Beloit’s Moritz Memorial Airport, established in 1942, is a city-owned public-use airport located one mile northwest of the city’s central business district.

Electric
The Electric Utility is an enterprise fund whose intent it is to provide reliable electricity, at the lowest possible cost, to customers and to pay for the costs of providing these services through user charges.

Fire
The Fire Department's mission is to provide timely response for the protection of life and property from fire and to provide related services that maintain or improve the quality of life in the City of Beloit.

Municipal Court
The Beloit Municipal Court is dedicated to providing fair, efficient, professional, and effective disposition of all matters within its jurisdiction.

Parks & Recreation
The Parks Department is responsible for over 130 acres of land throughout the City of Beloit including 4 parks, Sports Complex, North Campus and Elmwood Cemetery.

Pool
Located in Chautauqua Park, the newly renovated and developed swimming pool, opened for the first time in May of 2012, and is a welcome addition for the Beloit Community and surrounding areas.

Cemetery
The Cemetery Division of the Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the care and upkeep of the 38-acre Elmwood Cemetery located at 12th and Poplar.

Police
The men and women of the Beloit Police Department have committed themselves to the highest professional standards and developing organizational values that each employee will be expected to reflect in both their personal and professional lives.

Refuse Collection
The City Beloit has contracted with Hiserote Trash Service for residential refuse pickup.

Transportation
The Transportation Department maintains and repairs over 40 miles of surface roadway, curb/gutter, handicap access ramps, traffic control devices and crosswalks.

Wastewater
The Wastewater Utility Department has six employees and is separated into two divisions; Plant Division and System Division.
