"It is the goal of the Beloit Parks and Recreation Department to provide recreational and leisure opportunities for all members of our community and the surrounding area."

Responsibilities

The Recreation Department, located at 1723 N Hersey, is responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of the youth and adult sports leagues, youth instructional classes and adult education classes. The Department strives to offer new and innovative classes for young children through seniors in a variety of areas to improve the quality of life of the community. The Department continues a program of adult leisure classes with many different agencies and businesses in the community to bring resources and expertise to the classes and activities offered.
